John serves as a Tax Director at Geller Advisors, providing income tax services and wealth planning for high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners. He has over 17 years of experience developing comprehensive tax strategies, wealth maximization plans, and gift and estate tax planning. He works with domestic and international individuals and families to focus on the preservation of family capital, succession of their wealth, and fulfilling their philanthropic goals.
Prior to joining Geller Advisors, John worked at KPMG LLP in the Family Office Group where he focused on income, fiduciary, estate, charitable giving, and wealth transfer tax areas affecting entrepreneurs, private equity, and hedge fund principals. He has represented clients successfully in many federal, state, and gift tax examinations as well as residency and domicile challenges.
John received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh, and earned his Juris Doctor (JD) from Duquesne University School of Law. He is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants Estate Planning Committee, and Member on the Foreign Activities of U.S. Taxpayers (FAUST) Committee of the American Bar Association.
