Adam Stern serves as the West Coast Client Development Officer for Geller Advisors. Adam opened Geller’s Los Angeles office, focusing on the development and implementation of new business opportunities for the firm on the West Coast. With 26 years of financial services and business development experience, Adam also provides support to the relationship management team in their efforts to ensure customer engagement and satisfaction.
Prior to joining Geller Advisors, Adam was a Co-Founder of Taborlake LLC, which offers cross-disciplinary talent and business management services, integrating financial strategies for high net worth individuals in entertainment and sports. Previous to forming Taborlake, Adam was a Managing Director and Head of Business Development, Marketing and Investor Relations at Aristeia Capital. During his tenure, Aristeia more than doubled its assets under management and exceeded its target raise of $2 billion.
Adam’s past experiences includes, serving as a Managing Director at Crescent Capital Group, where he focused on business development, marketing and operations; as well as 10 years as the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer at AM Investment Partners, LLC, a hedge fund focusing on convertible arbitrage, volatility arbitrage, equity long-short and merger arbitrage strategies. In his role, Adam established the firm’s Hong Kong office and cultivated an extensive network of consultants, institutional investors, sovereign wealth funds, pensions, endowments, high net worth individuals and family offices. Adam began his career at Union Bank of Switzerland, where he was an Associate in Convertible Sales, and then as a Director and Head of US Convertible Sales at Deutsche Bank. Adam has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Trinity College.
